"We followed each other. [Talking about Fabio Quartararo] He was maintaining his pace well. We could see we could catch up to Aleix [Espargaro] and Jack Miller. I think, like me, he knew that Miller was going to struggle because he degrades his rear tires a lot. I wasn’t able to get closer and attempt an overtake on Fabio to maybe attack the others afterward. At one point, we got stuck. The front tire pressure increased a lot, which affected braking. You can't brake late anymore. You feel the bike pushing you. You can miss the turn, and as soon as you do, you lose a lot of time. I tried to control it, but I expected better performance from the rear tire. I didn’t have much more at mid-race. I had a lot of difficulties towards the end of the race. Fabio had a fuel problem exiting the last corner. It's incredible! I came out of the last corner expecting to have much more traction. His bike almost stopped. Of course, it’s always better to finish eleventh than twelfth. [Laughs] It's cool! We got closer; we raced with the Yamaha. We finished with a KTM and an Aprilia not far behind. We had the same issues in terms of tire wear."
